Pejman Nozad
Pejman is one of Silicon Valley’s leading and most successful angel investors. He is a seed investor in startups such as DropBox, Badgeville, Addepar, Path, Zoosk, SoundHound, and Qwiki, among many others. His prior investments include companies such as Danger Research (acq. by Microsoft), Bix (acq. by Yahoo!), Powerset (acq. by Microsoft), Sabio Labs (acq. by Magma), Vudu (acq. by Walmart), Webs.com (acq. by Vista Print), Clever Sense (acq. by Google), Milo (acq. by eBay), Sendori (acq. by IAC/Ask.com), and Extrem DA (acq. by Synopsys). Pejman is also the co-founder and chairman of Swapmeback, a financial social network for college students founded by Stanford students, and the founding investor of 512rewards. Pejman is a member of the prestigious International Sports Press Association and the Editor-in-Chief of Top Magazine, an annual international soccer magazine. In 2008, Pejman was honored to sit on the executive board of the International Children Games in San Francisco. Pejman played professional soccer for three years in Iran and also covered two FIFA World Cups (1998 and 2006) as an accredited reporter.
